Alex and Katherine Moved to Hawaii!!!!!!

we have love the last few days with some familiar faces! we are so happy to have them living here and they seem to be eating up this beautiful and amazing place!!

kc and alex rolled around in the sand after a good swim and body boarding... it was pretty comical.

it was a really breezy and chilly afternoon so katherine and i just chilled on the beach.

kc took this picture of some cinnamon rolls i made for work. he is in love with them!
after our car broke down in Haleiwa town, kc and i sat on this bench and goofed around for a bit while we waiting for our awesome friends Kilie and Huston to rescue us from having to ride the bus. they are awesome and have been so nice and helpful in times of need.

we switched glasses and my eyes went all funky from the prescription.

our new home!

Living room pic #1 For those of you who will visit, we bought the black futon couch as an extra couch and bed. so it will go in the 2nd bedroom when we have guests. we love having it in the living room though for get togethers.

baby's room closet.. so fun we are all ready for him finally. we were not able to set anything up until we moved.

our bedroom #2- the curtains are not hung yet, they are in our closet. Apparently we are getting all new curtains in our house and so the people who hang them just left them off that window because they just found out they are going to have to replace all of the curtains in a week or so anyways.

Turtle Beach

KC and i stopped at turtle beach the other day and took some pictures.... check them out.

Laie Point

kc and i went out to the point for a few minutes the other day after a quick trip to the grocery store. it is so.... amazingly beautiful! I am so sad that pictures don't do it justice! You all need to come visit and stay with us so you can see it for your self!

on the way home we saw this little dachshund, Kimo. we feel so bad for him because he is always tied outside and i never see anyone out there with him! We want to steal him and take care of him! however, he could not stay in our apartment so that plan will not do... but we do stop and give him a scratch when we can!

9 months

Here's me on the home stretch! still working and doing great! KC and i are getting really anxious to meet our awesome little dude!

F.H.E./ Happy 27th Birthday K.C.!

Monday afternoon, we went to Waimea Bay for a swim adn BBQ with our friends Killie and Huston Farnsworth. We had hot dogs on K.C.'s new grill. It was a great time... here are some pictures of a mongoose that was running around near us...

K.C. had his 27th birthday on Sunday! I cant believe my husband is 27! that is so old! ha ha (no offense to you older than that!) he got a Body board and a little kettle grill and we have been enjoying both! he requested to have a Chocolate Haupia(coconut) cream pie from Ted's bakery instead of a cake this year! he is also growing out a mustache right now... silly guy!

Moving on up..

April 14th we will be moving into a two bedroom apartment at Temple View Apartments (BYUH's married housing). We are sad to leave our 200 sq ft cute little place but we will really appreciate the extra space when we have a crib up and all the baby things around! so now that we will have a bigger place... come visit!!!!

Kc has really loved Video taping the funniest things since we got our Flip camera! we are so excited to have it when the baby comes! in the meantime, k.c. is recording us driving, and anything else possible! I sure enjoy his company!!!! he is an interesting and exciting person to live with! I am blessed!

GOOD MEXICAN FOOD

so kc and i have really been missing the good Mexican food you can find on any given corner in Mesa. Hawaii definitely is lacking in good Mexican. So we heard the best kept secret from a local who lives in Wahiwa a place called El You would never know it was there!! the store front is about 3 feet wide and painted bright yellow on the end of a small strip mall. it was the smallest place i have ever eaten! and crammed full of great Mexican art and charm! The pictures don't do it justice! the food was amazing!!!! really really incredible! its about a 50 min drive from our house but right on our way to the movie theater, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club so we will have to stop by often!!

8 Months Belly!

kc and i went on a jog yesterday, just about a mile. and i felt really good! it was good to know i can still run because i feel huge! i should have been running this whole time... oh well. I will start now... until i can no longer bear it. i imagine at 9 months i might not be so happy to go on a jog! welp.. here's what i look like now for all of you who dont live here....we love and miss all of you!

BABY, TSUNAMI, FHE

I am sooo good with Microsoft Paint.... as you can see below. kc is going to die when i show him! (he is amazing with it....)....

this is our little guy!!!! we had a diagnostic ultra sound yesterday, since i never got one in AZ when i was supposed to at 20 weeks. He is really healthy and active! he has HAIR(unlike me), puffy lips, chubby cheeks and all of his organs are doing great. he weighs 3lbs 9oz as of now! they "say" the baby gains 1/4 pound a week in the third trimester, so theoretically he would be approx. 6lbs if i deliver at 40 weeks. I like that weight! nice and small :)

kc and i waiting on temple hill for NOTHING TO HAPPEN on our tsunami warning day Saturday! hah what an adventure. thank goodness nothing happened.

K.C.'s favorite dinner. next time he is going to make mine 1/4 of the size because i was completely full after eating that much! I made some potato salad the night before and i love the recipe! soo good and simple!
