Arizona

KC and i were able to go to Arizona last weekend for Alex and Katherine's Wedding at the Mesa Temple! the ceremony was in Spanish and was really neat to listen to. They are a great couple and we can't wait for them to move out here to Hawaii in April! We realized we hadn't taken any pictures until Sunday Night and so we took a few at Granny and Opa's! We are so sad we didn't get any with the Davis' and everyone else in the Layton crew. Also, sooo... sorry to all of you who we missed saying goodbye to on Monday night! we do love you and will miss you dearly!

A JOB!

i officially start working again this FRIDAY! I got a cosmetology position at Spa Luana @ Turtle Bay Resort! i couldn't be more excited about the job offer and starting to do hair again! Yay!

7 Months Belly!

I started my 7th month yesterday, so i took a picture before we left for the beach today. How exciting!

Laie Falls Attempt #1

KC and i "attempted" the hike to Laie Falls earlier this week. We got the wrong directions from online and it took us no where... but it was a great workout! the site online said to follow the pink ties on trees to the left about an hour and a half up the trail... so we did and they took us in circles and up and down a steep canyon. After a while we found the main trail and decided that was not the right way. we were pretty hot and tired and decided to sit a eat lunch and head back down. When we got to the bottom, we realized that the sign we took a picture next to when we first started had directions. we should have gone up a few hundred more yards and turn right. oh well! haha now we know for next time!

on the walk to the trail head, we saw this driveway to a residence and thought it was pretty funny! "enter and u will be shot!", "One way in, no way out!", "do not pick the coconuts, will be shot!" ha ha these folks are serious!


this is about half way up, if you look in the distance, you can see the ocean that continues for over 2000 miles until you reach CA (its the east side of the island)... crazy!

A CAR!!!

KC and i bought a car last night! in KC's words. "her name is Lucille 2. She purrs like a kitten and doubles as an Asian tour bus." she has a huge trunk space and if you need to fit more people, a third row seat pops up and suddenly she seats 7! what a dream! i love this car, i love my guy, i love my cooking baby, i LOVE my life!

Goat Island, Delicious Burgers, & Waimea

Yesterday, we took the bus up to sharks cove to get a DELICIOUS ACAI BOWL from Kava Roots. and then walked about 2 miles to Waimea Valley. We were going to go the Waimea Falls and when we got down there, a sign said "no swimming today". I think its because it rained soooo much on Friday and sat morning that the water was really muddy. who knows? it was worth the walk though to see the beautiful valley. Afterward we walked back out to the main road and across the street to Waimea Bay Beach Park. We spent about an hour or two there and then caught the bus over to Historic Haleiwa town for dinner and walked around town stopping in the surf shops. it was a great day!

kc calls this picture "peeping tom" because he took it from behind a bush without me knowing! haha

K.C. made us some delicious burgers the other night!

Burger- mix lean ground beef, terayaki sauce(a thick glaze style sauce preferred), onion powder, salt and pepper to taste.

grill sliced pineapple along with the burger (prefer a fresh pineapple, but canned slices are good too)

when burgers are almost done, place a pineapple slice on it, and a slice of Swiss Cheese.

place burger on bun, and put more terayaki sauce in the hole of the pineapple slice.

lettuce, tomato, onion.. ect...

you wont be disappointed!

"Goat Island", is an island about 150 Yards off the shore of malekahana state recreation area. The surfing just off the southern side of the island is great. its also a great place to snorkel and layout on the beach with no one else there! check it out...


before going to goats, we stopped at this little asain shop for some treats!

Snorkling and Pounders

Yesterday was a GREAT day! Kc had school till 11am and then we gathered our beach things and rode our bikes to Pounders beach (a great place to body surf). Just to the right of pounders is a reef area that we hear you can see turtles at all the time. so we slipped on our flippers, snorkel and mask and took a dip. We saw many beautiful fish and I saw, for the first time in the water, a SEA TURTLE!!! we swam along side it for a good 5 minutes! i wish the picture above was mine, but i don't have a camera that can go under water, so i found a picture that looks alot like the turtle we saw!

I still haven't had a doctors appointment here for the baby. i am waiting on insurance... i feel great though so i am not worried. Hopefully i will be able to find a doctor and get an appointment within the next few weeks.

once again, we are so happy to be here!!!!! however, we are very excited to be coming in town in a week a half for ALEX and KATHERINE's Wedding!

Oh the life.....

We have had many adventures here so far and we LOVE IT!!! everyday we wake up and say.. "what a nice day out!" WE havent taken very many pictures but here are a few....

Last week we were adventuring on our newly arrived bikes, and ended up at Malakahana State Recreation area, its a GREAT place! Located just a half mile down the road. We thought this little area was cool where you can have a bbq. The park is huge with several picnic areas showers to rinse off from the beach and plenty of grass hills to roll down!

Yesterday, we took a trip to Malakahana again and found a great beach. it was really secluded and there was a great calm area for swimming. We took our snorkel gear and had a look around... mostly found hermit crabs and awesome shells with slugs in them.

I am sure all of u love to see my mostly naked pregnant body.... sorry about that. we really wanted a picture and i didn't have my cover up around... don't judge.

About a week ago, we took a trip up to Haliewa and Sunset beach. it was a jolly good time... i love these pictures i took of KC without him seeing.
